Our Story
The farm Gecko Pego Longo is located in the heart of southwest Alentejo, in the Natural Park of Vicentina Coast. It can accommodate a maximum of 11 people and 1 cot (available on site).
It is located in the village of Lameiros, 5 km from the village of São Luís. The surrounding mountain landscape is absolutely magnificent and offers endless opportunities for a variety of walks, mountain biking and even horseback riding. We are located near the Route Vincentian.
Isolated in more than 5 hectares of pure nature, +/- 20 km from the magnificent beaches of Vila Nova de Milfontes, Almograve, Zambujeira do mar, Porto Covo etc, including the famous beach do Malhão where surfing is practiced.
The nearby Mira River also offers many opportunities for water sports, such as paddle boarding and kayaking. This holiday home has a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room, 4 double bedrooms (one of which is a suite) and a mezzanine with 1 double bed and 1 single bed) and 2 bathrooms bath with bidet, shower or bathtub. There is also a French and Meo satellite TV and a DVD player, WiFi and air conditioning.
The house has its own garden, a large mirror pool and several large terraces with barbecue and plancha. We have also created a fully organic vegetable garden where you can buy and choose your own vegetables and fruits, if you so desire. For your information, many animals are part of the property (horses, dwarf pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, cats and dogs), which makes the children happy, who love to come and feed us at the end of the day.
